We are approved! Hooray!

I have wonderful news, we are approved to adopt again. All the paperwork is in, the homestudy is complete and all is a go so now we wait. So hopefully in the near or realistically not so near future Luke will have a little brother or sister. I feel very much at peace with the timing being in God's hands. I just know that He is the one who allowed our little family to get to the point that we are now. I was so floored by the miracles that led us to Luke and am anxious for the chance to again be a piece of the Plan.

I feel like right now is one of the most precious times in my life. Everything is going wonderfully and I just want to hold life remember these times. I am truly happpy.

The collage below is one of the one's that we turned in for our profile... just thought I'd give you a sneak peek.

Snow Boots

So apparently if you are a good parent you go shopping for snow boots in I don't know June. Last week we realized it was probably about time to get Luke some boots and snow pants so we used out date night to go shopping. We found the pants okay. But we went to probably 10 stores. And we found nothing. By the end I would just walk into a store and ask the sales associate. The last store I went into I kid you not the lady looked me up and down and said "oh no we are sold out of those." all snooty snooty like I was asking for swimsuits . Anyway we came home and found some on KSL classifieds, super nice ones never really worn and the same waterproof brand that Bry and I have. I swear if KSL sold food I could live off of it.

We sold our exercise machine and desk on there and turned our office/exercise room/junk room into Luke's playroom. Pictures to follow.

Making Pretzies

This has turned into such a fun tradition for our little family. It's Dipping pretzels or pretzies as Luke calls them. Its so fun cause we can all do it together. Plus Luke loved cleaning up...he was like a sprinkle vacuum. He even licked the counters...hey its Christmas :)

O Christmas Tree

As you can see Luke is in awe of our Christmas Tree. He wakes up every morning saying tree. So we go right down and look at the tree. He also loved helping to decorate it and was simply fascinated by the ornaments and how they came apart. His new thing is to sneak away and grab an ornament off the tree any time he can. Now I see why my parents had popcorn on the tree :)

It is so fun to have a toddler in the house to re-experience the miracles of the Holidays.
