Randomnicity

Kimber made it home safe and sound, we had fun greeting her at the airport, going to her homecoming talk (I'm not sure what the official term is these days) and just plain having her back.

We had lots of fun family time this weekend with my side of the fam.  We went up to a cabin and just relaxed. Played games, hot tubed and ate
I didn't get many pictures.  But as you can see, Luke is loving on candy and knows how to ask anyone except mom for it :)  He has also started calling sour patch kids friends.  I guess they are the perfect friend for an almost two year old.  You don't get in trouble for biting them, you don't have to share with them, and bonus...they are delicious.

Sorry no adorable pic of Lukers.  I can't seem to find my camera amidst all of the rubble.  We are in the last phase of our mini remodel.  To give you an idea of how much we have been going to the dump (or dumpy dump dump as Bryan calls it when he is trying to coax Luke into the car)  When we pull up Luke will exclaim DUMP!   And then wimpers "money" every time we give them money.  He doesn't really have a clue what cash money is, cause we rarely use it  but he hates to see us give it to the dump.  And I must say I agree...why am I paying to give them my garbage?

He also recognizes Home Depot..."Depot"  whenever we pull up.  Thank goodness they have car carts :)

A return to biking

I snagged a deal on this fun little contraption on craigslist, a bike trailer.   We are loving it.  We forgot how fun it is to go on bike rides.  Luke just sits and squeals in the back, he loves it.  However, I don't think I am quite as good a driver as Bryan, cause on one ride I put him on my bike for the ride home to test it out and he kept saying DaDa DaDa.  I think I need to learn to avoid the pot holes a little better.

Jam...condiment or drink...

Luke is an eater.  Heads up to any really advanced toddler ladies surfing the web, the way to this man's heart is definitely going to be through his adorable belly.  His current favorite is toast,  I have been patting myself on the back that he loves my whole wheat bread and hasn't noticed that it has gotten wheatier week by week.  (I started out at half wheat and half white and this week finally made the transition to all wheat)  But it turns out it wasn't the bread itself that he has been in love with.

When I had him all settled and eating I went to tidy up some things, and this is what I came back to.  If it is good as a spread it must be delicious as a juice :)
